RtR Process Lead with French

Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end Record-to-Report cycle, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local regulations and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, HGB).
- Ensure adherence to legal and corporate accounting policies, maintaining the highest level of compliance and internal control standards.
- Oversee the general ledger process, coordinating regular account reconciliations (bank accounts, receivables, payables, provisions) and promptly addressing discrepancies.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, proactively identifying and resolving accounting issues to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepare detailed management reports and financial analyses, and support external audits as well as tax reviews, effectively communicating with stakeholders across various functions.
- Drive process optimization initiatives within the RTR area, identifying opportunities for efficiency and supporting the implementation of new ERP systems.
- Collaborate closely in French with international business units, vendors, and other teams to ensure consistent application of best practices and contribute to the development of shared service center activities.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, ideally in a multinational environment.
- Fluency in French (C1 level) and English (B2 level or higher) required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification is a plus.
- Proven knowledge of international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, HGB) and familiarity with local statutory requirements.
- Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, combined with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead by example, work effectively with cross-functional teams, and deliver results in a fast-paced setting.
