Project Management Officer (PMO)
We represent an international engineering company that supports the relocation of production lines, installation of warehouse systems, and conducts optimization projects. The company assist clients in the fields of production, engineering, and intralogistics.
About the Role
The position of PMO Manager is newly created within the organization. The current team consists of 10 Project Managers. The newly hired individual will be responsible for conducting an audit and developing a new strategy for the project management department. Our Client expect the implementation of modern project management tools, standardization of processes, and improvement of their efficiency.The PMO Manager will report directly to a board member and participate in the steering committee for large-scale strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and reorganizing the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring best practices and standards for project execution.
- Developing and implementing new project management tools, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency.
- Supporting and mentoring project managers, fostering a high-performance culture within the execution team.
- Standardizing project processes to enhance efficiency, improve quality, and meet safety standards.
- Ensuring effective risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation across all projects.
- Closely collaborating with production, sales, customer service, and execution teams to align project goals with business strategy.
- Acting as a liaison between project execution and executive management, ensuring smooth communication and project alignment with strategic goals.
- Participating in contract negotiations and client interactions to ensure successful project initiation.
- Overseeing and monitoring key project performance indicators and implementing improvement initiatives.
- Engaging in the steering committee for high-impact projects, providing strategic analysis and leadership.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing international large-scale projects, preferably in the engineering, automation, or industrial sector.
- PMP or PMI certification is a strong advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
- Experience in process implementation, project standardization, and risk management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, enabling cross-functional collaboration in an international environment.
- Proactive and strategic approach, with the ability to drive change and optimization.
- Proficiency in English at C1-C2 level (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
- Willingness to travel for business (max. 25% of work time) for project oversight, contract negotiations, and client meetings.
- Mandatory on-site presence at the plant (this is not a hybrid role).
