For our client, a company located near Kalisz, we are looking for a Plant Controller. Position is a newly created role in the structure. The Plant Controller will be responsible for financial reporting, planning and coordinating/implementing the budget of the Plant Business Unit, as well as business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies and practices.

Plant Controller

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support and organise the financial controlling processes and management reporting for financial group reporting with main focus on plant controlling
  • Play a key role in introducing reporting and planning processes
  • Drive the gradual integration of the company?s finance IT systems and processes to corporate group?s systems
  • Ensures that all financial policies are aligned with corporate procedures and standards
  • Interprets financial performance of the company and provides insight specific recommendations on them
  • Supports and assists in the preparation of Group financial reporting with exposure on operational controlling
  • Ensures that all information is reflected properly in actuals, budget and forecasts
  • Performs ad-hoc analysis to support management decision making
  • Ensures consistency between financial reporting and management reporting
  • Drives the implementation of monthly closing
  • Drives the implementation of rolling forecast and annual planning
  • Drives the implementation of the IFRS reporting

Experience/Skills/Specific Knowledge/Education:

  • Minimum 5 years Finance / controlling and reporting experience in international environment
  • Minimum 3 years operational controlling experience in production company ? mandatory
  • Proven ability to proactively identify areas of opportunity
  • Attention to detail and analytical approach
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (knowledge of Reporting and Database mgmt tools is preferable)
  • Ability and expertise to create business models
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  •  Knowledge of leading best practices
  • Strong communication skills
  • Very Good English (verbal and writing)
  • Able to work independently with good sense of responsibility
