Due to the development of its structures in Poland, opening a new production plant in Poland this year and the Company's expansion in Europe, we are looking for candidates to fill the position of:

 

European HR Manager

place of work: near Wroclaw

As the European HR Manager you will be providing leadership and management at the newly established plant in Poland, near Wroclaw. Reporting to the Global HR Leader you will be responsible for developing and leading human resources and compliance within the European region.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides day-to-day direction in all aspects of international human resources
  • Assumes corporate responsibility for development of company guidelines, policies and procedures on a European/UK basis
  • Serves as the designated expert on the interpretation of human resource policies issues for European/UK employees
  • Develops and assists with the implementation of human resource programs for foreign entities with a concentration on host-country labor law and legal issues
  • May maintain involvement with new foreign entities for an extended period to develop policies, processes and procedures and handle employee relations issues
  • Coordinates with local payroll agencies in partnership with Finance to manage local employees based employees and ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with local service providers to manage end to end delivery of services
  • Manage employee benefits - e.g., bonus, healthcare provision and pension
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff for EU/UK in conjunction with leadership team for responsible sites
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department (within Poland) once up and standing
  • Ensure that annual objectives are set for all employees and evaluations are completed in a timely manner
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company local policy
  • Periodic Salary bench marking

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in human resources, international relations or other business-related field or an equivalent amount of experience and training
  • At least eight years of human resource experience
  • At least two years of international human resource experience
  • Fluency in a language other than English would be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws as warranted
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
